In the field of color printing each color needs a separate printing stencil.
The printing motif on the single stencils often have a deviation up to several millimeters depending on the outer edges.
The Vision System makes a highly accurate manual alignment if the printing stencil in x/y direction possible.
To do this live images of two cameras are displayed simultaneously as well as two in position, size and color freely programmable crosses on a monitor.
The positioning of the plates is carried out by an operator who aligns two crosshairs on the stencil respectively to the corresponding cross hairs on the screen.
Each stencil can be aligned in this way in relation to the printing pattern to a precision of 0.005 mm.
After alignment, the template will be marked by pressing the foot pedal with a hole punch and are prepared for further machine processing that way.
The exact positioning of the stencil to each other allows a fine, clean printing results.
