On a rotating workpiece support system, the inspection of plastic-coated steel pipes regarding dimensional stability, complete encapsulation and correct flow is performed.
The inspection process consists of a visual inspection in the workpiece support and a pneumatic testing on the workholder.
The loading and unloading is done with the help of external SCARA robots.
The measurement results are visualized in real time on a separate statistic screen and archived in an SQL database.
