Side panels of B/C/D pillars in passenger car interiors are among the safety-relevant components because they are equipped with airbags. They are therefore subject to special criteria and must usually be 100% tested. Due to their sometimes complex forums, the complete injection molding of all features is often an important test criterion.
With an inline inspection system with several fixed cameras, these requirements can be met even with fast cycle times and directly in robot handling. The supplied ambient light shielding can be easily integrated into the automation as a complete inspection station.
