The system is used for automatic optical inspection of the steering shaft collars.
It is designed for both versions (4-wheel drive (4WD) and for normal drive (2WD)) to be tested without conversion. Even a mixed processing is possible.
The system consists of a test cell with rotary table and an unloading-, sorting- and packaging unit.
The parts are automatically sorted in OK/ NOK and 2WD/ 4WD. OK Parts are inserted into the shipping containers according to the predetermined order.
The shipping containers run on a two-lane conveyor belt through the packaging station.
When normal (2WD) 4WD and cuffs are processed simultaneously, one track is reserved for each version.
