Description:
This software is an IT-supported process monitoring system that documents the assembly steps to be carried out. Compact vision systems with one or more cameras are specifically supported in that, for example, the manual assembly of multi-variant products is guided and documented - including a final report with camera images as well as notes and inspection results.
The greatest user benefit is guided assembly, which includes automated, process-accompanying documentation. The targeted data input results in quality management in production, which collects various process data, automatically creates documentation and efficiently configures the system.
Innovation:
The best example of the software's efficiency is provided by our customer Boysen in the production of battery boxes, in which complex machined sheet metal blanks with many openings and features are now described in a production-oriented manner. Whether for prototype construction, pre-series production or final production - everything is documented from the outset throughout the entire development process. Collected findings and images guarantee the facts for later automatic inspections as well as process descriptions and work instructions and serve as the basis for flexible adaptations and more complex vision systems.
Statements from Success Story e-mobility project with customer Boysen Group:
“On the one hand, inspection and quality control can be solved innovatively with hardware. On the other hand, software such as ZU-Vision Smart Process Monitoring helps in system generation, assembly and ultimately in everyday production. The delivery of incorrectly assembled or even incomplete parts is prevented and all process steps are traceable, which minimizes the error rate enormously. From this perspective, the software facilitates reproducibility and reduces human error.”
Markus Urban, Managing director of Ziemann & Urban
“In the production of complex battery housings with large components, image documentation is no longer just a separate part of system development, but also the obligation to create facts and findings with flexible systems. Even quality checklists have been standardized and time-consuming data entry using hand scanners for goods accompanying bills and order cards is no longer necessary. Ideal for us to be able to offer our premium customers in the automotive and commercial vehicle sector an outstanding variety of innovative production technologies for sustainable energy and environmental technologies at our plant in Simmersfeld.”
