The automatic inspection system measures and controls three different types of press-in threaded bushes according to given tolerances.
The sockets are transported via rotary and linear conveyor onto a rotating glass disc.
Then the threaded bushes are transported via a rotary table to the measuring position and blown out depending on the results of the measurement at different positions or manually scraped from the plate.
The measurement is accomplished at three stations, each with a restart retrigger camera.
The complete measurement process and also the good and bad part discharge is coordinated by a central computer.
The position of the parts on the rotary plate is detected by sensors and light barriers and tracked via the encoder.
The test parts can be inspected for shape, diameter and bore with a restart- retrigger camera used, which allows a more precise imaging and testing.
