No matter how well the other hardware components of an image processing system have been combined - the software determines the functionality of a system. Image evaluation is the software implementation of the camera application - including camera control, image acquisition, image pre-processing (filtering), evaluation with suitable functions, result output, data storage, visualisation, data set change.

ZU-Vision-Software

ZU-Control-Software

With this software, the test and machine sequences of a complete system can be created and different measuring devices (tactile, optical, camera) can be connected with each other. Of course, the results are visualised.

ZU-Com Software

ZU-Com is an application that acts as a communication layer between own (e.g. ZU-Vision/ ZU-Control) and external systems of other manufacturers with TCP/IP or Pipe - TCP/ IP. This ensures smooth communication and interaction within the overall solution.

ZU-Report Software

This data mining tool for process-optimised evaluation of the result data from ZU-Vision and ZU-Control is ideal for storing, maintaining and evaluating the generated data.

For high-speed applications, it is possible to first store data in local databases and then merge them asynchronously into a central database. The combination with ZU-Control and ZU-Vision as data suppliers allows the connection of an unlimited number of plants and any number of products per plant. Different evaluations can be carried out for each product.

By skilfully carrying along counters, we achieve a constant evaluation speed over an arbitrarily large amount of data.

TIA-SPS Software

For integration into large, higher-level line control systems or plants, Ziemann & Urban uses the PLC control system from Siemens. The Totally Integrated Automation (TIA) portal allows complete access to the entire digitised automation system.
