Founded in 1991 by Andreas Ziemann as an engineering office, Ziemann & Urban is now an owner-managed, medium-sized family business with 35 employees and a global presence for its equipment.

Over the years, the innovative solutions for test automation and quality assurance have earned us a reputation in German and worldwide industry that we are proud of.

But even though the quality of our own software development and expertise in mechanical engineering are undisputed, it is the relationships with our customers that represent the real value for us.

With the ISO 9001:2015 certification as well as other industry-oriented standards and guidelines, Ziemann & Urban documents effective quality assurance and sustainable quality management. The testing and compliance with these standards certifies the continuous quality improvement and the high standard of information security.

In addition, increasing international standardisation in conjunction with rising quality requirements in all industries demands high standards for measurements and tests. Therefore, customers often require so-called capability certificates (MFU/MSA) for the measurements and tests carried out with our systems.
