Among them was our company, which has been committed to the exercise of honorary office for decades.
So far, four employees, including the management itself, are involved in functions at the Medizinisches Katastrophen-Hilfswerk e.V. (an association of private rescue service companies and specialists from a wide range of sectors in germany and europe who want to contribute resources to public disaster protection) and in the volunteer fire department at their place of residence. The social role of volunteering is important to us, particularly because time off for volunteering at work also brings social competence, creates motivation and also promotes cohesion within the company - an example that other companies should certainly follow. We see it as our duty to "hold these offices in high esteem" because this commitment is simply worth it.
So that the assistance system continues to flourish and Bavaria remains a safe and livable country in the future.
