Ziemann & Urban performs the non-contact inspection of pipette tips in the hekuma system HEKUtip QC Assistant. The task is to visually inspect and measure the plastic parts, checking and measuring several parameters such as diameters, burrs and wobble circles with an accuracy of less than 1µm. This is a measuring application that has to be carried out without perspective distortion due to the many object positions and thus predestines the use of telecentric lenses with precise flashable backlighting.
